A police operation targeting “criminal groups” is under way across inner and southwest Sydney.
A NSW Police spokesman confirmed to The Daily Telegraph it was taking place on Thursday morning but would not say what groups they were looking into.
“A police operation is currently under way across inner and southwest Sydney. The operation relates to an ongoing investigation by the state crime command criminal groups squad,” he said.
“No further information is available.”
