Younger NSW residents are driving up the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases as the state total hit 210 on Tuesday following 39 new confirmed cases.

In new statistics released by NSW Health, 52 of the confirmed cases are aged between 30-39, making up almost 25 per cent of the total.

Those aged in their 40s made up the second-most infected age bracket while just eight people in their 70s and three in their 80s have been diagnosed.

The figures were released shortly before health authorities released footage showing inside one of the state's new coronavirus clinics.

In the video, filmed at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, chairs are spaced out and marked on the floor while a doctor performs a test and workers disinfect doors.

The clinic is one of 29 new COVID-19 clinics across NSW.

In devastating news for Aussies the iconic Bunnings sausage sizzles will be suspended.

While scrapping the sizzle will help with social distancing, that's not the reason why it's been canned.

The barbequeues were cancelled because of panic buying leading to low stocks of bread and sausages, with Bunnings concerned about the lack of supplies in the community.

The Federal Court has closed its doors in a dramatic response to the country’s coronavirus epidemic.

The move by country’s national court has prompted by Tuesday’s shut down of the Family Court’s Sydney headquarters in Goulburn Street after a lawyer tested positive for the virus.

In an unprecedented move the Federal Court said this afternoon that it had vacated all listings that required either a litigant to attend in person or mediations and listings relying on video link from court premises listed up to June 30

A spokesman said the court was looking at conducting cases by videolink or other virtual processes.

“The court is examining, as a matter of urgency, its capability to facilitate listings by remote access technology, without requiring in person attendance. Further information will be provided as soon as possible of alternative arrangements that may be able to be put in place,” the spokesman said.

Aldi has changed its opening hours after the bargain supermarket chain joined Coles with creating new limits on items as shoppers flocked to Woolworths — but left empty-handed.

As of Wednesday March 18, all stores will trade from 9:30am-7pm, unless other state and local trading restrictions apply.

They have changed hours of operation to give employees a break so they can look after themselves and their families, and give store employees more time to restock shelves with products and be ready for customers.
