A woman was stabbed at the Coffs Harbour Jetty precinct on Monday afternoon.

Paramedics were called to the Jetty Village Shopping Centre on Harbour Drive about 3.45pm to reports a woman in her 50s had been stabbed multiple times.

A NSW Ambulance spokesman said she had stab wounds in her arms and legs.

She was taken to the Coffs Harbour Health Campus in a stable condition.

About an hour later, paramedics were called to Joyce’s Bridge at Darkwood to reports a 49-year-old man had come off his motorbike.

The spokesman said the rider crashed into a wire fence and sustained cuts to the chest and leg.

He was taken to Coffs Harbour Health Campus in a stable condition.

The NSW Police Force is investigating the crash.

A statement from police said the man had been riding an unregistered motorbike on Darkwood Road when he crashed.
