A Nambucca Heads man had just been to the bank and had a wallet full of 50 and 100 dollar notes in his wallet - but it didn’t last long after he left it inside his vehicle.

Emma Marie Partington, 30, of Nambucca Heads, was convicted of larceny when she appeared via audio visual link at Macksville Local Court on Thursday.

According to the police facts, the victim had parked his vehicle at his home, and noticed CDs had been strewn around the cabin on the morning of December 2.

Property to the value of $1200 had been taken, including a wallet and cash, a Medicare card and an Australian Navy ID.

Partington pleaded guilty and magistrate Nash noted there had not been any further offences since the incident.

She was sentenced to a 12-month community corrections order with supervision.
