Police have released security camera vision of two men who threatened a Coffs Harbour shop worker with a hammer and knife in a robbery.

Police have released security camera vision of two men who threatened a Coffs Harbour shop worker with a hammer and knife.

Officers hope a member of the public might recognise the pair who stormed the Harbour Dr shop about midnight on April 12.

The store attendant was menaced with a knife and hammer as the assailants demanded money.

The pair left the shop after taking cash and other items and the employee was not physically injured.

The raiders were wearing black clothes and face coverings.

On Friday, Coffs/Clarence Police District released photos and a video of the raid in a bid to get a breakthrough on the case.

Both men are described as about 170cm tall and of medium build.
