A 27-year-old man has died after being struck by a car at Corindi Beach, near Coffs Harbour.

A pedestrian has died after being struck by a car at Corindi Beach, just north of Coffs Harbour.
The young man, Edward Abel, 27, was tragically found dead at the scene.
Mr Abel was set to get married this year.
The Coffs Coast Advocate spoke to his fiance, who said he was a “loving man”.
Police said emergency services were called to Corindi Beach, after reports Mr Abel had been hit by a car at about 9.15pm on Thursday.
The incident occurred at Solitary Islands Way near Kangaroo Trail Rd.
The driver of the Hyundai, a 24-year-old woman was taken to Coffs Harbour Hospital for mandatory testing
Solitary Islands Way was closed with diversions in place for several hours while the scene was investigated.
Officers attached to Coffs-Clarence Police District established a crime scene which will be examined by specialist officers attached to the Crash Investigation Unit.
