A Coffs Harbour massage therapist accused of sexually assaulting a client during an appointment at a parlour has faced court.
Wenyu Wei, 64, faced Coffs Harbour Local Court accused of sexually assaulting a woman during a scheduled appointment on Tuesday, May 3 last year at Coffs Massage Central.
Wei has been charged with sexual intercourse without consent and two counts of sexually touching another person without consent.
No pleas were entered during the February 14 mention.
The Chinese national was arrested just before 5pm on the day of the alleged assault.
He was kept in custody prior to his court appearance the next day, when he was granted bail.
Wei has been banned from entering Coffs Massage Central or any other massage clinic and cannot perform massages in any other setting while the case proceeds.
The court heard Wei needed a Mandarin interpreter for his next court appearance.
Wei did not enter a plea and he remains on bail.
He applied to have bail conditions altered so he could attend a new job at a berry farm.
Wei has forfeited his passport and cannot go within 50km of any Australian departure point.
He also must report to Coffs Harbour Police Station every day from Monday to Thursday.
The case was adjourned to the court on February 28.
