COUNCILLORS will be asked to adopt a new draft local environmental plan and residential tourist lands development control plan for land adjoining Bonville Golf Resort at the Coffs Harbour City Council meeting tomorrow.

The land was also included in a general revision of the residential tourist lands DCP.

The development control plan has been amended to include the Bonville Golf Resort lands as a residential/tourist precinct with a maximum of 471 dwellings, split between 318 low-density dwellings and 153 medium-density dwellings.

Bonville residents have raised a number of concerns about the proposed development, including its impact on koala habitat.
