Moree house fire owner found in Woolgoolga

The 75-year-old owner of a home totally destroyed by fire has been found in the Coffs Coast area.

The elderly owner of a home totally destroyed by fire in Moree earlier this month has been found in Woolgoolga.

Emergency services were called to a home on fire on Anne Street in Moree about 2.30am on October 5.

Fire and Rescue NSW extinguished the flames about 5.30am but the building was completely destroyed.

NSW Police issued a public plea for information saying the 75-year-old could be in the Woolgoolga or Moonee Beach areas.

He was found in Woolgoolga on October 8.

A NSW Police spokesman said the fire was no longer under investigation and they did not believe there were any suspicious circumstances involved.
