Korora, NSW man flown to Gold Coast University Hospital after suffering serious leg injuries in tree fall

A Mid-North Coast man has been choppered interstate with leg injuries requiring treatment by critical care paramedics after falling from a tree. Here’s the latest.

A Mid-North Coast man has been choppered to an interstate hospital with serious leg injuries after falling from a tree at Korora, just north of Coffs Harbour.

Emergency services were called to the area following reports the man in his 20s suffered the nasty fall on Wednesday about 1pm.

NSW Ambulance paramedics called the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service to meet at Coffs Harbour Airport.

The man was treated on scene by paramedics and stabilised by the helicopter’s critical care medical team.

He was flown to Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious, but stable condition.
