Jacob Kingshott, now 30, had sex with the 15-year-old girl who could not legally consent on several occasions in the Bellingen and Coffs Harbour areas in 2021.
Kingshott faced Coffs Harbour District Court on Monday and pleaded guilty to two charges of having sexual intercourse with a child. A guilty plea was also entered to a third charge set to be taken into consideration during sentencing.
Court documents state Kingshott was 27 at the time of offending and told the victim he was infertile.
They had unprotected sex on a number of occasions and she later fell pregnant.
Kingshott accompanied the teenager to terminate the pregnancy, the court was told.
The victim went to the police to report the crime last year and officers began an investigation.
When they could not find Kingshott, they issued a warrant for his arrest, the documents state.
Kingshott went to Coffs Harbour Police Station on December 18 last year and he was arrested and charged.
His case has been adjourned to November 25 and it’s expected a sentencing date will be scheduled.
