The Coffs Harbour Covid vaccination clinic will be moving to the C.ex club in Coffs Harbour this weekend.
The announcement came at the same time authorities issued details of a new venue of concern in the region.
Anyone who attended the Nambucca Heads BP Service Centre on the Pacific Highway on Tuesday, September 7, between 6.15pm and 6.35pm is considered a casual contact and must immediately get tested and isolate for 14 days until a negative result is received.
The venue is associated with a confirmed case who transited through the area.
On Thursday night (September 9) a Covid positive mum and her children who travelled through the Mid North Coast on a train bound for Coffs Harbour were removed at Kempsey and ordered to isolate.
The new Coffs Harbour vaccination clinic will be located upstairs at C.ex Coffs in the centre of town and is expected to be operational from Saturday.
A walk-in clinic had been established at the former Red and White Medical Centre on the corner of the Pacific Highway and Argyll St.
Appointments for both the AstraZeneca and Pfizer vaccines can be made through the Australian Government’s Eligibility Checker.
People with existing vaccination appointments will be contacted to remind them of the new venue.
Mid North Coast Local Health District chief executive Stewart Dowrick said the new clinic at C.ex Coffs would allow the expansion of operations as more vaccine supply became available.
“The local health district has been providing vaccinations to staff and eligible members of the public since mid-March as part of the national vaccination program,” he said.
