Car roll near Iluka, motorbike accident at Dorrigo: busy morning for ambos

A man in his 70s came off his motorcycle near Dorrigo and a car rolled and smashed into a tree which fell, blocking the road near Iluka on Saturday morning.

A man in his 70s came off his motorcycle on the Waterfall Way east of Dorrigo on Saturday morning.

Two NSW Ambulance crews attended and treated the man for shoulder injuries, a laceration to the head and possible chest injuries.

He was taken by road to Coffs Harbour hospital in a stable condition.

The accident occured approximately 5km east of Dorrigo at around 11am. Traffic was impacted in both directions for almost two hours.

The NSW Ambulance service was alerted to the incident just after 9.15am.

Two teenagers, a male and a female, were treated at the scene. The female was treated for neck, shoulder and head pain and transferred to Lismore hospital in a pelvic binder with spinal precautions.

The male was taken to Maclean hospital.

The incident took place 2km from Woombah on the Iluka Road.
