More details have emerged in relation to an alleged Coffs Coast fraud.

Anthony Patrick King is facing nine charges of dishonestly obtaining financial advantage by deception in relation to a series of frauds which are alleged to have occurred between 2013 and 2015.

Mr King, who appeared in Coffs Harbour Local Court this week, was arrested and charged in early May following a three-year investigation by Coffs/Clarence Police.

Court documents reveal the alleged deceptions against three men occurred in both Coffs Harbour and Macksville.

Police allege the three men were coerced into investing vast sums of money into fraudulent business ventures which Mr King then used for his own personal use.

Court documents state Mr King allegedly obtained money from one man who made investments totalling more than $1.45 million dollars across four transactions in 2013.

Then in 2015 it is alleged two other men gave Mr King $139,000.

Anthony King did not apply for bail and will reappear before Coffs Harbour Local Court on June 7.
