Charlie Aitken and Holly Nasser’s relationships rumoured to be over

Two months after news of Charlie Aitken’s marriage breakdown and new relationship hit headlines, it seems the prominent Sydney funds manager is single again.

Just two months after making headlines with his marriage breakdown and announcing a new relationship, it seems prominent Sydney funds manager Charlie Aitken is again single.

While Aitken did not return Confidential’s calls, word among the Sydney social set is that he and Hollie Nasser, the former bestie of his ex-wife Ellie Aitken, are no longer an item.

Nasser is, of course, also the estranged wife of Aitken’s investment partner, Chris Nasser.

The story metaphorically blew up the society set in November as one of Sydney’s most feted couples — Charlie and Ellie Aitken — called time on their relationship.

At the time, Aitken said: “I can confirm I am separated from Ellie Aitken and am in a relationship with Hollie Nasser. My sole focus is my children and I’ll make no further comment.”

Despite news of the split with Holly, Aitken appeared upbeat as he enjoyed a day at the Royal Sydney Golf Club in Rose Bay on Saturday.

“He was grinning like a Cheshire cat,” one bemused onlooker noted. “He seemed completely unfazed by the whole situation.”

Chris Nasser was a founding investor in Aitken’s investment business AIM, and is said to have tipped between $5 million and $10 million into the business.

Nasser resigned as a director of Aitken’s AIM board on November 13, to be replaced by his brother Damien.

Ellie Aitken resigned as a member of the board that same weekend.
