A man has died in hospital after crashing an e-bike in North Coast tourist hub Byron Bay earlier this month.
Emergency services were called to the single-vehicle crash on Ewingsdale Rd about 7.30pm on April 13.
A 30-year-old man was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics and flown to Gold Coast University Hospital.
Tweed/Byron Police District officers since been notified the man died in hospital on Thursday, April 18.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
Police examined the crash site and launched inquiries into the circumstances of the crash.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
