Four alleged outlaw motor cycle gang members have been arrested with one 47-year-old alleged member of the Gold Coast chapter of Lone Wolf OMCG, remaining in custody after appearing at Tweed Heads Local Court today for allegedly breaching his bond conditions.
The joint operations between Tweed/Byron Police, Queensland Police’s Taskforce Maxima, Australian Federal Police (AFP), Queensland Probation and Parole and Corrective Services NSW — Community Corrections saw more than 50 officers involved in targeting OMCG activity in the region.
As part of the large-scale strategy, police searched a property at Tugun, allegedly associated to a member of the Lone Wolf OMCG where police located steroids and prescription medication, both seized for forensic analysis.

A 32-year-old man and a 24-year old woman were issued with notices to appear at court by Queensland police.
A 25-year-old member of the Mongols OMCG Tweed Heads chapter was arrested at the scene but later released pending further inquiries.
Community compliance officers from Corrective Services NSW and their QLD counterparts also visited a number of properties to conduct compliance checks.
Queensland Probation and Parole officers conducted drug tests on several OMCG members, who allegedly tested positive to cannabis and methamphetamines. They will be dealt with by Queensland Probation and Parole.
