Ballina: Man remains in critical condition after found injured
A man found with multiple injuries near Ballina was flown to hospital, where he is reportedly in a critical condition. Police are now appealing for information on how the man came to be injured.

Police are appealing for information after a man was found suffering multiple injuries and in a critical condition near Ballina.
The 43-year-old man was located 16km northwest of Ballina on Eltham Rd, Teven about 9.30pm on Saturday.
He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics and flown to Gold Coast University Hospital.
Detectives from Richmond Police District are investigating the circumstances surrounding how the man became injured.
Police have been told the man was with a 25-year-old woman at an Eltham hotel about 4pm that day. That woman is assisting police with inquiries.
Detectives are asking anyone with information or dashcam vision they believe could assist investigators to contact Ballina Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
