NT HEALTH’S new chief executive Frank Daly has officially begun his new role.
Dr Daly was announced as the new Department boss last boss, replacing former chief executive Catherine Stoddard, who resigned in December last year.
He officially begun his role today.
It comes after the NT News reported that Dr Daly made headlines in 2017 following his sudden resignation from his role as chief executive of the Child and Adolescent Health Service in Western Australia.
Opposition leader Lia Finocchiaro criticised his appointment, saying it was “the last thing Territorians need.”
Health Minister Natasha Fyles defended the decision to appoint Dr Daly saying he was appointed to the position following a robust independent recruitment process over many months.
