Director James Bobin will begin filming his Paramount Pictures live-action film about the beloved Nickelodeon character Dora on the Gold Coast next week.

DORA THE EXPLORER MOVIE FINDS ITS STAR

Madden’s recent credits include playing Marion Quade in the recent TV mini-series Picnic at Hanging Rock, which also starred Natalie Dormer and Samara Weaving.

Madden also stars in two upcoming Netflix series — Tidelands, opposite Elsa Pataky, filmed on the Gold Coast and in Brisbane, and Pine Gap, which also stars Parker Sawyers.

DORA TO HELP BRING MORE BLOCKBUSTERS TO GOLD COAST

Due for release in August 2019, Dora the Explorer’s script, by Nick Stoller and Danielle Sanchez-Witzel, follows the adventures of Dora as a teenager.
