MAFS’ Lauren looks unrecognisable in old photos

Old photos of Married At First Sight’s Lauren have been uncovered, showing the newlywed’s much darker side.

She’s the glamorous blonde who has just dropped a steamy bombshell about her sexual preferences on her virgin husband.

Now photos of Lauren before her time on Married At First Sight have emerged — and in them she’s barely recognisable.

The jaw-dropping snaps have been discovered on a separate Instagram account to the one the 31-year-old uses to share her mushy wedding snaps with Matthew.

Lauren is married to former virgin Matthew on MAFS, but she looked very different before the show.

In one photo the make-up artist is seen rocking vampy lipstick, with heavy eyeshadow and thick eyeliner.

She also has tousled hair to match and has given her eyes a slick of glitter to complete the moody vibe.

In another photo she appears to be channelling her inner Disney mermaid, with long flowy red hair, glitter smeared across her cheeks and bright pink lipstick.

She’s also given her eyebrows a makeover, transforming them into colourful pink strips to match her lips.

“Trying a new look,” she captioned the snap that was shared back in 2016.

The dark lips appear to be a trademark look for Lauren in the archives, with variations of black, purple and deep reds appearing through multiple photos.

“I love a dark burgundy lip with coppery eyes,” she wrote on a photo from July 6, 2017.

However, in a separate post she alludes to not everyone liking her striking appearance.

“People need to stop worrying about what others think. If you wanna wear a bright or bold lip just f**king do it. You only get one shot at life so do what makes YOU happy,” she said.

She loved to wear heavy eyeliner and dark lipstick.

Lauren is forced to defend her choice in another post, hinting at controversy around the bold look.

Clearly a fan of switching up her look, Lauren also tries out a playful braid hairstyle in one snap and teams it with a bright red lip.

“I’m now one step closer to achieving my goals and dreams,” she captioned the photo.

Proving she’s a real-life chameleon, Lauren also shares a photo of herself with lilac lippie with matching eyeshadows and a smart up-do.

“Purple people eater,” she teased alongside it.

The bright transformations are a long way from how we’re used to seeing her on screen, where she opted for an everyday blonde bob.

While things started off well for the queen of transformations with her MAFS “husband” Matthew, the pair appear to have hit a rocky patch.

Last night, Matthew squirmed uncomfortably when Lauren confessed her kinky past and expressed her desire for “passion” between them.

And in a preview for tonight’s second dinner party, Matthew drops his own bombshell when he tells producers, “I’m not actually attracted to Loz.”

At least we know she can change her appearance and hide well if things turn sour between them.
