They have turned heads, earned cheers and helped their teams to success at the Australian Schools rugby championships in Sydney this week.
Now these talented teen tyros been rewarded with selection in a variety of teams at the conclusion of the championship at Knox on the weekend.
Serious fun at state rugby champs
The domination of the competition by players from NSW was reflected in the makeup of the Australia A Schools squad with 19 of the 27 hailing from the state.
It was the same situation in the Girls U18 Merit team with eight of the 12 from NSW while in the U16s it was an even split with six from NSW and six from Queensland.
The U16 squad identifies players of the future and rising stars of the game while those in the U18 Merit squad will attend a national training camp and vie for Australian U18 selection.
The ASRU Australia A boys team of 27 will undertake a three-match tour of Japan in September. This team will visit the Prefectures of Kanagawa, Chiba and Tokyo.

AUSTRALIAN SCHOOLS RUGBY FINAL RESULTS
Starting on Wednesday in driving rain the championships concluded under sunny skies on Saturday in front of a large crowd at Knox on Saturday.
The event wrote a new chapter in its history with girls Sevens teams competing for the first time in U16 and U18 competitions.
