Gold Coast DJ Fisher is teasing a new song with J-Lo ahead of his sold-out home beachfront festival this weekend and fans are saying it was the “crossover we never knew we needed”.

In the week leading up, Fisher shared a video playing his new song ‘Waiting for Tonight’ featuring Jennifer Lopez.

“You reckon our baby knows the words already @chloe.fisher,” he captioned the post referencing his pregnant wife..

Fans flooded comments, saying they would “lose their mind” if Fisher played the new song during his set on Saturday night.

Fisher, commenting on the Out 2 Lunch Festival Instagram, said he was playing a second set at 2pm Saturday when doors opened.

“I’m starting to get real excited,” he said.

The festival is 2pm to 10pm and organisers advised concert goers to get public transport to and from it, stating there would be an “extremely limited” park and ride facility at Betty Diamond Park, Tugun.

A free shuttle bus to it runs from Varsity Lakes train station, Broadbeach light rail and Tugun Park n Ride from noon with two extra locations leaving the event at Burleigh Heads and Palm Beach.

The festival is on the foreshore park and Coolangatta beach which include a combination of sand, grass and concrete.

“The stage will be located on the beach and the event facilities including food, bars and toilets will be located on the foreshore,” they said.

Fisher, a former aspiring pro surfer, was scheduled to join a World Surfing League ‘freesurf session’ with world champions Kelly Slater, Mick Fanning, Joel Parkinson, Mark Occhilupo, Chelsea Hedges and Stephanie Gilmore at Snapper Rocks on Friday.
