Cats star Jeremy Cameron and partner Indiana Putra have welcomed their first child.

Cats star Jeremy Cameron and partner Indiana Putra have welcomed their first child.

Baby Macey was born on Wednesday.

It was a big week for forward Cameron, who also celebrated his 30th birthday on Saturday.

A post to Instagram said the new parents were “so in love” with their daughter.

Fellow Cats players and their families congratulated Cameron and Ms Putra on social media.

“The absolute best! Congratulations,” star defender Tom Stewart wrote.

The Cats face Gold Coast on Sunday for round three, and Cameron reportedly flew up to join his teammates on Saturday.

The imminent arrival of the bub put Cameron’s prospects of playing in the opening two rounds of the season in the air.

Cameron said his partner was due “around the Collingwood round one to Carlton round two”.

However he ultimately played in both games, which the Cats lost.
