Bailey Clifford, accused killer of Paul Grapsas, faces court

A man accused of murdering Geelong father Paul Grapsas has made his first appearance in the Supreme Court.

The man accused of murdering Geelong father-of-three Paul Grapsas has made his first brief appearance in the Supreme Court.

Bailey Clifford, 19, is charged with murder and appeared in the Supreme Court in Melbourne via video link on Tuesday morning.

Mr Clifford is alleged to have killed Mr Grapsas between September 14 and September 15 last year.

Police believe Mr Grapsas was walking his dog late at night, and failed to return home.

Mr Grapsas’ wife, Jessica, discovered her husband in the early hours of the morning the following day.

During the committal mention two weeks ago in the Geelong Magistrates’ Court, Mr Clifford pleaded not guilty.
