A young man has been rushed to Townsville University Hospital in a stable condition after a collision between the e-scooter he was riding and a car in Kirwan on Friday morning.
Queensland Ambulance services said paramedics responded to a call-out about 6.09am after being alerted to a crash on the roundabout connecting Charles Street and Bamford Lane.
He suffered chest injuries during the crash.
A police spokesman said they were alerted to the crash around 6.12am after being notified by the on-site ambulance and a call from the driver of the vehicle.
