Forensic crash unit to investigate fatal two-car crash at Irvinebank
A man in his 60s has died following a fatal two-vehicle crash in the Far North on the weekend.

A man in his 60s has died following a fatal two-vehicle accident at Irvinebank in the Mareeba Shire on the weekend.
Queensland police confirmed a Toyota Corolla was driving along Herberton Petford Road around 12.53pm, when it crashed into a Toyota Hilux driving in the opposite direction.
The driver of the Corolla, a 19-year-old Atherton man, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Atherton Hospital.
The passenger of the Corolla, a 64-year-old Atherton man, sustained critical injuries and died at the scene.
The two occupants of the Hilux were assessed at the scene with minor injuries.
Earlier, a Queensland Ambulance Services spokeswoman said paramedics were called to the two-car accident just before 1pm on Herberton-Petford Road.
Road and air-based crews were activated following reports that a man was trapped in one of the vehicles in the rural location.
Both drivers of the cars were assessed at the scene by paramedics, and the air-based crew was stood down.
One patient was transported to Atherton Hospital in a stable condition.
A Queensland Police spokesman said the forensic crash team was investigating the accident and one lane of Herberton-Petford Road was closed.
