A man’s body has washed up on a popular beach south of Sydney.
Police were called to Stanwell Park Beach just before 7.30am on Tuesday morning after reports that a body was found
Officers have established a crime scene and investigations are underway as to the circumstances of his death.
The man is believed to be in his 30s but is yet to be formally identified.
A spokesperson for the NSW Police has confirmed that the beach has been reopened to the public.
Police have urged anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
