Woman killed in horror van crash in Sydney’s North Shore

A woman was hit and killed by a van in Sydney’s North Shore early Tuesday morning.

An woman has died after being hit by a van.

Emergency services were called to the the Pacific Highway near the Beechworth Road intersection in Pymble at 6.20am on Tuesday.

NSW Ambulance paramedics administered first aid.

NSW Ambulance paramedics rendered first aid; however, the woman died at the scene.

She has yet to be identified but is believed to be aged in her 60s.

A crime scene has been established as police investigate the incident.

The male driver of the vehicle will be subjected to mandatory testing.

Motorists travelling near the area are advised to expect delays.
