Police treating Watson school fire as ‘suspicious’

ACT Police is investigating a “suspicious” fire at Majura Primary School in Watson last night.

ACT Police is investigating a “suspicious” fire at a Watson school last night.

Police were called to Majura Primary School on Knox Street about 9.30pm to find a school building had been damaged by fire.

ACT Fire and Rescue also attended.

Following an analysis of the scene, police are treating the fire as suspicious.

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who noticed anyone acting suspiciously near the school on the evening of June 10.
