It comes after a series of disruptions across the city this week, with Extinction Rebellion holding protests every day.

The Department of Transport’s Chris Miller said Friday morning’s protest was the “most impactful” blockage as traffic ground to a halt.

Drivers were advised to take an earlier exit.

More to come.
