A surprise item with a price tag of just $16 has sold out — but fans won’t have to wait long for it to come back in stock.

Kmart released a $16 Plush Toy Storage item, which is essentially a clear tube which people can put their fuzzy toys into.

Jess, who goes by @jesslavenders on TikTok, took to the social media platform to declare; “Plushie collectors, run to Kmart. They are now selling these really cool plush storage tubes for $16,

“I picked up one. It comes in a few pieces.”

She said she fit 45 of her five-inch plush toys inside the storage device.

Taylor James said she picked up two more of the storage device after discovering the first worked “so well”.

“I feel like this is the solution to all our stuffed animal problems,” she said.

Meanwhile, @galabyskl said it was brilliant to store loose bits of yarn and crochet tools, as well as any knitted plushies.

However, many social media users eager to get their hands on the Plush Toy Storage device haven’t been able to find them in store.

“I cannot find this anywhere on their website,” one social media user commented.

Another said: “I asked Kmart staff about them. They said they don’t exist even looked on the website and can’t find it.”

“Am I the only one who can’t find this online,” another said.

One commented: “I can’t find it online.”

And, that is for good reason. The Plush Toy Storage proved so popular that it has sold out. But, fans shouldn’t fear. A Kmart spokesperson confirmed to news.com.au that it would be returning.

However, it wont be back in stock until May.

“The Plush Toy Storage from Kmart is a brilliant solution for families looking to organise their child’s collection of soft toys while also adding a touch of fun to their room,” the spokesperson told news.com.au.

“Designed with both practicality and style in mind, this storage option not only helps keep the toys neatly stored away but also doubles as a cosy place for kids to play or rest their favourite stuffed animals.

“The spacious design means it can hold a large number of toys, keeping everything off the floor and out of sight, which makes tidying up so much easier.

“Whether it’s for a nursery or a playroom, this versatile piece is sure to fit into various room aesthetics with its neutral colour and plush fabric.

“If you’re looking for an efficient and playful way to declutter your child’s space, this Plush Toy Storage is a fantastic, affordable choice.

“Given the popularity in this product, it is now sold out. Kmart customers will be able to purchase this product again from May 2025 – keep your eye out!”
