Porn star Kay Manuel exposes truth about Schoolies stunt

The OnlyFans star who erected a billboard to promote her Gold Coast escapades, stating she pulled in 75 graduates, has exposed herself.

A porn star who claimed to have slept with 75 graduates in 48 hours during the first weekend of Schoolies has admitted she “lied”.

Kay Manuel, 22, hit headlines around the country after erecting a billboard promoting herself in central Surfers Paradise to the 20,000 students descending on the town after finishing their Year 12 exams.

But after boasting about her sexual escapades, reports also emerged that questioned claims she made about her life story.

Now the young adult entertainer says she has come clean about her Schoolies stunt and transition, while blasting the “deplorable online rhetoric” in an exclusive interview with the Gold Coast Bulletin.

“I can understand where there can be some questions, but like, it’s really no one’s business,” she told the masthead.

“I don’t refer to myself as transgender. I never have. I think that term – you’re just calling yourself a man so at that point, you might just as well call yourself just that.”

Manuel added that the public had no right to scrutinise her and she had no need to justify “anything to anyone” but backflipped after previously claiming she had slept with 75 Schoolies over the weekend.

“I haven’t had to disclose it this year because I haven’t filmed with anyone,” Manuel said.

When news.com.au asked Manuel on Sunday about questions over her past, she asserted she was born a woman and not a man.

“It’s not true. I’m born female,” she said.

“I’ve got strong features, I’m Asian and Maori and I’m tall… bold features.”

The Gold Coast local, who moved from a “small town” to the party strip when she was 18, claimed she gave a false account of her Schoolies escapades after telling several times to media she had slept with 250 “barely legal” graduates at last year’s Schoolies.

“It was never intended to be just a publicity stunt... I didn’t know what else to do, besides lie,” she claimed.

As a result, Manuel, who used to work at Macca’s before launching a career in the adult industry, said she’s unsure whether she will film with graduates who are set to take over the popular tourist destination again this weekend.

“I’m not saying no and I’m not saying yes,” she said defiantly, stressing that anyone she has sexual contact with are always informed of her transitioning.

“Every single person I had filmed with (in the past) has had a good experience,” she claimed.

“There were two people that asked to have their content removed last year, and it was because they were going for government jobs, one was in the editing phase so never posted and the other was removed immediately.”

Manuel had previously told news.com.au she had bedded 55 Schoolies leavers in the first 24 hours of the annual celebrations kicking off.

“I’m here to have fun with all the schoolies,” she said. “It’s a cash cow.”

The next day, that number had gone up to 75, but her public self-promotion had led to Manuel being kicked out of her rented accommodation.

“And they charged a cleaning fee even though there was no mess,” she said.

A spokesperson for Airbnb Australia couldn’t provide details of Manuel’s exact matter, but the company’s policy lists commercial pornography and sex work as “illegal and prohibited activities” in its properties.

Manuel said she had actually been scheduled to film alongside controversial sex workers Bonnie Blue and Annie Knight, dubbed “Australia’s most sexually active woman” — but these plans were canned when Blue’ Australian visa was cancelled on November 8 on the grounds of allegations that she had intended to contravene her 12-month visa by working.

It was her intention to work and not the Schoolies campaign itself, which had raised concerns among activists and parents, that saw her visa cancelled.

Blue and Knight relocated to Fiji, however after just two days in the country, the pair were deported by the country’s Minister for Immigration, Pio Tikoduadua, who described the move as an effort to “safeguard Fiji’s integrity and immigration system”, local outlets reported.

Knight landed back in Sydney on Tuesday evening following the furore over the Schoolies stunt.

Both Knight and Blue declined to comment when contacted by news.com.au.
