Even better, it's a role at a school, and it doesn't require a a degree.

"I poached our daycare worker"

Better still if it's within, or not too far off, school hours.

But those positions are a Holy Grail.

"Literally around $32/hour"

"I'm a school supervising crossing guard, so, a lollipop lady," she tells Get Ahead's interviewer.

"So roughly because we do only an hour in the morning, and half an hour in the afternoon, and only Monday to Friday in school terms, so it's literally around $32 an hour."

The anonymous woman doesn't indicate her precise location, but does share she's been in the role for eight years.

She got into the position simply by encountering a school teacher on a morning walk, "And this lady just liked my personality, and she said look, there's a position going.

"I [figured] I'm getting my foot in the door."

She also reveals that she loves the interactions while she's at work; "Meeting and greeting people, being out in the environment."
