How to make a pom pom Mother's day card

Mother’s Day is all about showing the mums in your life how much you appreciate them.

So forget the store-bought cards this Sunday and whip up this thoughtful handmade one instead.

Add a message inside for an even bigger personal touch and it's guaranteed to bring a smile to mum's face. 

Not only is it super simple, but you'll have lots of fun in the process, too!

Materials

  • Small craft pom poms - multicolour

  • Craft glue with a squeeze nosil

  • Blank card in your choice of colour

  • Cookie cutter or other stencil

  • Lead pencil

Method

  1. Place the cookie cutter or stencil on the front of your card

  2. Hold it in place and trace the shape with your pencil

  3. Squeeze your craft glue along the pencil line 

  4. While the glue is still wet place the pom poms on top of the glue line 

  5. Allow to dry

  6. Write on the card to tell your Mum everything you love and appreciate about her 

  7. Make your mum breakfast in bed on Sunday morning and give her your beautiful card!
