'Doughnuts for breakfast?': Mum shamed for what her toddlers eat in a day

While some slammed the mum for her "insanely unhealthy" choices, others praised her for keeping it real.

Woman mum-shamed after showing what her toddlers eat in a day

After sharing a usual day of her toddlers' eating habits on TikTok, a mum has faced extreme backlash about her meal choices.

Mum-of-two Karlee documented her one and three-year-old's breakfast, lunch and dinner but people criticised the "insanely unhealthy" food.

Meanwhile, others praised the mum and said it was a "relatable" and "realistic" depiction of parenthood.

"Busy day edition"

Posting to her account, @ourlittlekrew, Karlee titled the carousel "What I fed my toddlers vs. What they actually ate. *busy day edition*."

First up, the kids get the Original Glazed Krispy Kreme doughnuts for brekkie and four extra doughnut holes on the side.

She then posted a photo of the plates after her kids were done eating, to show how much they actually ate. "Devoured as expected," she wrote after their breakfast.

For lunch, Karlee made them homemade pizza and gave them each two slices. She accompanied this with leftover fries but both kids "barely touched" their meals.

Finally, the children had half a McDonald's burger each for dinner, more fries and some watermelon.

"Who wants to bet they only eat the watermelon?" Karlee wrote - a prediction she soon discovered to be true.

"This food is trash"

One person wrote, "Glazed doughnuts for breakfast is wild."

Then this woman remarked: "This is so insanely unhealthy for a growing child."

A third sarcastically quipped: "Wow, so healthy."

Then this person claimed, "This food is trash," while another asked, "Is this a joke?"

"Some days are like this"

On the other hand, other parents praised the mum for keeping it real.

One fellow parent wrote: "I love how accurate this is. Some days are like this, some days are healthier, it's all about balance.'

Someone else chimed in, writing, "Love how realistic this is!!!"

And then this person concluded: "This is so relatable for a lazy day!!!!"

Karlee then responded to the trolls in the comments, saying, "We do not eat like this always and they usually eat plenty of fruits and veggies! lol."
