Time for a wardrobe refresh? This shopper has discovered a sneaky loophole. 

Winter is cominggggg!!!!!!

Which means, if you're like me, an excuse to get a whole new wardrobe. 

But if you want to do that without breaking the bank, you might want to take a leaf out of this TikToker's book.

Ireland Carter, an Aussie fashion influencer, shared a hack to score massive discounts on clothes ahead of the chilly season, and it all starts with heading into Kmart. However, instead of making a beeline to the women's department, she says to head to the kid's section instead. 

No, not for your littlies, for YOU!

The Kmart hack to score cheap winter clothes

"My hack is to go into Kmart and go to the little kids section, boys, girls, whatever, and look at the jackets," Ireland begins her now-viral clip. "They're so freaking cute and so cheap."

She then goes into the changing rooms and tries on two different jackets.

First up is the 1/4 Zip Teddy Jacket, $15, which comes in cream and brown and is made from super soft sherpa polar fleece fabric. 

It comes in sizes 8-16, with a 16 being perfect for women around a size 10. 

Ireland then tries on Faux Fur Bomber Jacket,$29, which features a spread collar, ribbed cuffs and an oversized design. It also goes up to a size 16. 

"I love this. It's so good," she says while trying it on. "How cute is this? It's so cosy!"

Ireland’s video has received over 100k views with people in the comments praising her for the tip.

"I did this yesterday! Obsessed," said one commenter. "Great idea," remarked a second. 

"I've been shopping in the kid's section for years. Some of my most complimented pieces are from the kid's section," replied a third. 

"Wait 'till you try the kids' basics. Gamechanger," added wrote.

"Yes, I get loads of knits from the girls’ section," said someone else.

The little-known Kmart shoe hack every woman needs to know

It's not the first time shoppers have discovered hidden gems in the kid's section. 

People have also been snapping up children’s shoes after realising they actually go up to a size that is the equivalent of a ladies' size eight!

Yep – runners, sneakers, boots, flats and sandals from the kid's section are available to women with feet a size eight or below. 

It’s absolutely genius and aside from opening up the doorway into a whole new range of footwear, it’s a whole lot cheaper to buy kids shoes too.
