'I love Eric!' Aussie's travel blunder has wholesome ending

One Aussie mum learned this the hard way, sharing her simple blunder to TikTok this week which thankfully had a happy ending.

"I love Eric!"
Aussie mum and Big Brother alum Mel McGorman took to TikTok this week to share the mistake she made when leaving her car at Adelaide Airport.
In the video, she shares that she was overseas and left her car in the airport’s long term carpark for eight days. But, when she came back, she realised she’d forgotten to do one very important thing.
“So I came back to my car and this is on my window,” the video began.
“I have a feeling I left my window down - of course I did - in the long term car park and some nice person covered it up for me.”
The video shows her car’s driver side window covered up with plastic.
Inside the car, there was a note left by her knight in shining armour.
“‘Dear Driver. Your window was down this morning, so I have tried to seal it with plastic this morning as further rain is expected. Regards, Eric (the Car Park Team)’,” she said, reading a portion of the note aloud.
“I love Eric!”

Commenters on the video were quick to commend Eric from Adelaide Airport’s Car Park Team on his efforts, noting the amount of care which goes into a simple act like this.
“it’s good to see that there’s good people out there! bless their souls! 🤍” one commenter said.
“Naw so wholesome! Humans can be so cute!” another agreed.
“Great work Eric, champion 👏” one stated.
“Eric is a bloody legend. This is seriously good service that they realised AND did something about it in a car park of that size!!” said another.
