Huge US star spotted posing for photos at Bondi Beach

A social media sensation with 70 million followers was seen having an impromptu beach photo shoot with her local mates this week.

US TikTok sensation Dixie D’Amelio is one of the biggest names in social media, boasting over 70 million followers.

But this week, the 23-year-old was spotted at Bondi Beach, blending in with the locals who were out sunning themselves on the famous grassy knoll.

The star has been keeping some local company while Down Under promoting her latest brand partnership – namely Emma Pillemer, the Aussie jewellery designer of Made in Bondi fame.

The friends are the same age and were seen taking selfies on a digital camera – which is now very on trend for Gen Zs, who are turning their back on smartphones in favour of retro point-and-shoots.

D’Amelio wore a brown crochet tie-up bikini from the Bondi-founded brand It’s Now Cool which is available at the trendy boutique, Tuchuzy.

The triangle top retails for $100 and the string bottoms are $110 and both feature cheeky cutouts.

She wore light smokey eye makeup and 70s-styled gold-framed sunglasses as she posed up a storm for the camera, later posting the snaps to Instagram.

Her look was topped off with her BFF’s jewellery brand, including the chunky Butterfly Effect gold necklace, $159, and matching statement earrings.

While in Sydney, she has also been spotted wearing another Aussie founded swimwear brand, Bydee.

She posted multiple shots to her account, wearing the Barcelona Top and Prague Bottom in Thalassa.

For their beach outing, Pillemer opted for a red string bikini top, which matched perfectly with her bright red acrylic nails.

The influencer made sure her signature edgy style was still front and centre, even for a day at the beach, and wore baggy low-waisted jeans and $1270 Gucci platform mules.

She topped off the eye-catching outfit with a faded black $900 Miu Miu cap, a $400 Louis Vuitton card holder, silver Emma Pills jewellery and a green terry towelling handbag.

Her pink polka dot phone case had the words ‘Sexy Emma Pills’ written on it in cursive writing and was on full display as the women snapped even more photos on their phones.

Last week, the duo were seen bringing their A-game to Bondi’s dining scene as they headed out for a boozy brunch at North Bondi eatery, Pocket.

They sipped on cocktails and indulged in tapas as they chatted and caught up.

Pillemer wore a brown and white checkered dress with white lace detailing from Lioness, which is currently on sale for $30.

She finished off her eclectic look with gold jewellery and black thongs.

D’Amelio sported a casual look, wearing a white T-shirt, a beige skirt and Nike sneakers with crew socks.

It comes after Pillemer was spotted rubbing shoulders with yet another global social media star recently.

Just last month, she was seen with YouTuber David Dobrik during his visit to Australia.

Dobrik, 28, made a surprise trip to Sydney and was seen spending time with Pillemer at her family home in Vaucluse and even went on a classic Aussie servo run with her.
