Police are asking for help after a labrador puppy was brutally beaten in the backyard of a home on Sydney’s Northern Beaches yesterday.

Police are asking for help from the public after a labrador puppy died after being found brutally beaten in a Sydney backyard yesterday.

The owner of six-month-old chocolate labrador Coco returned to their home in Cobbadah Place in Freshwater yesterday, and found their puppy injured and unresponsive, NSW Police said in a statement today.

Coco was immediately rushed to a vet but she sadly died from her injuries. The owners have now been advised after conducting X-rays Coco had a fractured skull, and Northern Beaches Police have launched an investigation into the launch of the puppy’s death.
