McDonald’s Australia fans weren’t too impressed when the fast-food giant released its new Caramilk flurry last week.
The highly-anticipated collaboration with Cadbury had left some fans disappointed claiming they could barely taste the beloved golden chocolate.
However, a TikTok user known for her low-calorie food hacks may have just come up with a solution to get your sweet Caramilk/Macca’s fix.
In her clip, Brisbane personal trainer Bec Hardgrave revealed how you can make a “Caramilk Coffee”.
“Did you know you can order the Caramilk McFlurry toppings on the side?” she asked viewers, before using the ingredients in her iced long black.
“I popped them in my favourite coffee and even added some whipped cream and then I popped the (Caramilk) flakes on top,” she says in the video.
“The whole thing was under 150 calories and so delicious, you definitely have to try this out.”
Her hack immediately garnered plenty of attention with Macca’s and Caramilk fans eager to give it a try.
“Defs doing this,” one TikTok user wrote, tagging their friend.
“That does look good,” they responded.
“I had this tonight and it was the absolute best drink! My new favourite!!” a third person added.
Others commended Bec on her Macca’s hacks, with one person saying they have tried them all.
In one of her most recent clip, Bec shows viewers how to recreate the iconic Big Mac burger using ingredients from Aldi for only 420 calories while getting over 30 grams of protein.
“I found these Aldi brioche buns at and they taste literally just like Macca’s,” she explains in the video.
“Get 100 grams of lean beef, press it down with a plate to make it flat, add your smoked cheese.”
She then says to add burger sauce, raw onion, lettuce and pickles.
“This is 420 calories and over 30 grams of protein and I’m loving it.”
Reaction to the video, like many of her others, has been huge, with many commenting they would recreate it at home.
The 25-year-old accounting student told news.com.au she had no idea documenting the low-calorie foods and treats she eats on TikTok would blow up.
“I started posting healthy recipes and the first one that went viral was of a no-carb, high-protein, gluten-free pizza. That just went crazy and ever since then I just started posting more about fitness and health,” Bec said.
After just five months of joining the popular platform she has clocked half a million ‘likes’ on all her posts with some detailing the “surprising” supermarket foods she eats while still maintaining a lean look.
“I find there is a lot of misinformation in the fitness and health industry and it is very over complicated. I want to show people that they don’t have to eat super bland and boring food to lose weight,” she said.
