From the murals to the menu, every aspect of this hatted Malaysian restaurant reflects co-owner Junda Khoo’s childhood in Penang, specifically the hours he spent enthralled by his grandma’s cooking.
With family in mind, Junda is helping make Mother’s Day a bit more special by offering her a glass of champagne with one of the banquet menus.

RAFI
It’s all about the vibe at RAFI, a 300-seat hatted restaurant and bar in North Sydney with dishes inspired by elements of Sydney’s coast.
Overseeing the menu of locally sourced seafood and produce cooked over charcoal is Peruvian Executive headchef Matias Cilloniz who has grown up harvesting produce on his family’s farm, brings with him an understanding and respect for the fresh seasonal ingredients that drive the menu.
For Mother’s Day, and as part of American Express delicious. MonthOut, Cilloniz has curated a four-course share menu featuring many dishes that brought RAFI to the forefront of Sydney’s dining scene.
Seafood-loving mums will enjoy the South Coast tuna with tomato and tahini; grilled lobster with cultured butter; kingfish with avocado, chalaquita and plum; and dry-aged black Angus sirloin MB5+.
