WINGHAUS
Join the flock of wing lovers and sports fans catching all the action at Winghaus, a vibrant sports bar with multiple big screens celebrating the Women’s World Cup with an array of wing flavours inspired by 10 competing countries. Cheer for the Matildas with chicken-salted wings or show your support for other countries with flavours such as England’s salt &
vinegar, USA’s Nashville rub, Brazil’s Chimichurri, and Canada’s maple and bacon. Not all wings are created equally, and Winghaus gives you a choice of classic, boneless, or fried chicken wings. There are even cauliflower wings for those after a vegetarian option. Select from 10-piece ($16-$19), 20-piece ($29-$32), 50-piece ($59-$62), or 100-piece ($109-$112) servings to satisfy your wing cravings. There’s no better pairing than wings and a cold beer, and Winghaus has you covered with over brews on tap. This wing extravaganza runs from July 20-August 20 at Winghaus’ three Sydney locations (Circular Quay, Barangaroo, and Bowen Hills).
BANKSTOWN SPORTS CLUB
The uncontested home of sports in the southwest, Bankstown Sports Club is going all in during the FIFA Women’s World Cup in the clubs’ three different areas: the Rainforest Lounge, featuring a massive 3m screen; the Basement Brewhouse; and the Outdoor East Terrace. On Thursday, July 27, an exclusive event awaits in partnership with Fan Plus/Asahi for the second Matildas’ game against Nigeria. On the night, there’ll be food and drink specials, contests, exciting prize opportunities, face-painting, and sporting legends Steve Carfino, Dylan Holmes, Paul Wade and Andrew Redmayne will be taking questions and chatting about the upcoming tournament.

FAN FESTIVAL
Seats at Olympic Stadium may be the hottest ticket in town, but the real action will be at the FIFA Fan Festival at Tumbalong Park in Darling Harbour, where there’ll be a free public viewing area for 5000 people. From 4pm on match days, there’ll also be live music performances from acts such as Jessica Mauboy (Friday, July 21, 8pm), a football playground with games galore, and the first FIFA Museum in Australia. Of course, you can’t do all this
on an empty stomach, so there’ll also be a range of street food trucks, an Aussie barbecue prepared by leading Aboriginal native food chef Sharon Winsor, and, exclusive to the FIFA Fan Festival, The Sydney Tuna Cheeseburger from award-winning chef Josh Niland. While the big screen may be at Tumbalong Park, the World Cup spirit has spread throughout the eateries at Darling Harbour with limited-edition offers such as soccer-pops and a football bagel at Kurtosh.

WOOLLAHRA HOTEL
In the leafy Woollahra suburb, this beloved establishment with an original art deco setting has been an Eastern Suburbs favourite since the 1930s. But come July 20, it’ll garner a new slew of fans as the hotel, including the serene outdoor terrace, transforms into a Women’s World
Cup watching party. There’ll be big screens throughout the venue, decorations galore and food specials, including the Game Day Special: a choice of burger, fries and beer for $30. Be sure to try the premium Victor Churchill Beef Burger – 100% wagyu, grilled beef aged to perfection, chilli mayo, crisp lettuce, ripe tomato, gruyere cheese, and zesty Sichuan pickled cucumber. Football fans can all agree that this one is a winner ... regardless of who you’re cheering for on the field.
