Exodus from hell: Thousands flee unstoppable firestorm

Terrified motorists were stuck in vehicles for up to seven hours overnight during the biggest evacuation in Australia’s history with thousands ordered out of entire towns, national parks and south coast holiday hamlets in the path of a ‘firestorm.’ It came as NSW police confirmed a seventh person had died in bushfires impacting the area.
