Barry Otto the famous actor has been painted for the Archibald Prize. The artist is Meg Brown. Barry Otto is an artist as well as an actor, and he was close friends with the wealthy Australian collector John Schaeffer who was run over and killed last year. They bonded over a mutual love of the same kind of art. Barry wears a special piece of jewellery in the portrait, as a tribute to his late friend.
