Which 2022 MAFS Australia couples are still together?

Just three MAFS couples remained together after final vows, but one couple is set to call it quits when the reunion airs on Monday. Here’s what we know.

Three Married At First Sight couples decided to continue their relationships in the outside world at final vows last week, but one romance will not last the distance when the reunion episode airs Monday.

Domenica Calarco and Jack Millar, Olivia Frazer and Jackson Lonie, and Selina Chhaur and Cody Bromley all decided to ‘stay’ at final vows, while fellow contestants Ella Ding and Mitch Eynaud, and Tamara Djordjevic and Brent Vitiello went their separate ways.

Weeks later, all the contestants – including those who left the experiment early – returned to film the dinner party reunion, which airs Sunday, and the ceremony reunion, which airs Monday. The episodes were shot in early January in Sydney.

And judging by a juicy teaser, one couple is set to reveal at the reunion ceremony that they’ve called it quits.

Here is what we know:

Domenica and Jack:

In an interesting twist, Domenica and Jack were seen arriving separately to film the finale reunion episode, in pictures obtained by Daily Mail.

The couple were photographed arriving in different cars, with Jack seen without his wedding ring, fuelling rumours they may have called it quits after the experiment and prior to the reunion.

But in the past few months, the pair have conducted interviews side-by-side and have suggested they are still together.

Olivia and Jackson:

The show’s most controversial couple were spotted arriving at the dinner party holding hands, and have also openly talked about their blossoming relationship in various media interviews.

It’s been reported that Jackson has moved to Olivia’s home town of Newcastle.

However, judging by a teaser for the reunion ceremony, they experience some turbulence when the contestants all watch footage back from the experiment which will inevitably show Olivia in a bad light.

Though it could be the result of tricky editing, the teaser leads viewers to believe Jackson and Olivia may call it quits during the reunion.

In the clip, a panicked Olivia is seen sitting on the couch in front of the experts, alongside an exhausted-looking Jackson, who tells Olivia to “share the big news.”

We don’t get to see what the “big news” is, but the camera flashes to MAFS expert Mel Schilling who asks, “Who ended the relationship?”

The teaser ends with a shocked Samantha Moitzi saying to Al Perkins, “They’re breaking up.”

Selina and Cody:

After deciding to pursue their relationship at final vows, there are unconfirmed rumours Selina and Cody are in fact the couple “breaking up” at the reunion.

Despite this, the couple were photographed arriving at the dinner party together and appeared to be happy in each other’s company.

Not a whole lot is known about whether their relationship has prospered in the months after filming ended, so watch this space.

Tamara and Brent:

Brent Vitiello and Tamara Djordjevic are most certainly not together.

Tamara and Brent both decided to call it quits at final vows last week.

At the reunion dinner party, Brent reveals Tamara “tried to pick up” Ella’s TV ‘husband’ Mitch.

“Tamara, you tried to pick up Mitch when we got out of the experiment and he rejected you! We saw the call logs and we saw the messages!,” Brent says to a stunned group.

“I tried to pick up Mitch?!” an under-siege Tamara responds, as Mitch looks on with a smug smile.

Speaking about it on Mike E & Emma Wednesday morning, Ella revealed Tamara actually had reached out to Mitch “before final vows”.

“She wanted to grab dinner with him and another mutual friend they had, and Mitchell did tell me and Brent, but the intentions behind it are all pretty grey to be honest,” Ella added.

While there were reports Brent began dating Ella on the outside world, both have since denied it, saying they’re “just friends.”

Ella and Mitch:

While they went their separate ways at final vows, with Ella wanting to continue their romance but Mitch choosing to leave, the couple reportedly rekindled their relationship in the outside world shortly afterwards, prior to the reunion.

The couple were seen arriving hand-in-hand at the reunion dinner party and appeared to be loved up. But reports suggest they split again just days later.

It’s not known what went down after filming the final episodes, but Ella hasn’t spoken favourably of Mitch in recent interviews.

She told Hit WA’s Allan and Carly For Breakfast last week she felt she had rose coloured glasses on during filming.

“Being outside of the experiment and watching it all back, you see things in a different perspective and things become clear as day,” she said.
