‘Weird’: MAFS groom Eliot exposes truth about Tim

MAFS groom Eliot has shared his dislike for fellow villain Tim, and revealed a bizarre conversation they had at the buck’s party.

Married At First Sight groom Eliot has revealed what he really thinks about fellow groom Tim, who has been slammed for his treatment of bride Katie.

Eliot, who has had his share of backlash after walking on his bride Lauren for not exercising enough and owning expensive luggage, shared an awkward interaction with Tim at the MAFS buck’s party.

He revealed that Tim - a never-married 30-something P.E. teacher with a nose ring - claimed women have been “taking advantage” of him his entire life, which didn’t sit right with Eliot.

Tim, go organise an athletics carnival.

Speaking with host Josh Fox on the MAFS Funny podcast, Eliot didn’t speak very fondly of team, remarking, “That guy was a bit weird, to be honest, we didn’t really get along at the bucks party. He was saying how he was such a nice guy and girls were always using him. Come on dude, be f***ing honest.”

“He said he had no preferences and was open-minded, then everyone was having a go at me, but I wanted to give them my preferences so I didn’t have to do what he did and disappoint someone and then go back on what I said.”

Eliot went on to hit out at Tim for not showing Katie any form of affection, even if it was just friendly.

“[He wants] short, petite and blonde … The way that he dealt with it was just brutal. He wouldn’t even hug her, it was like she had some deadly virus. I was like, dude, give that f***ing girl a hug.”

The MAFS groom went on to compliment Katie’s relationship with her parents, and revealed that he’d reached out to her personally to make sure she was doing OK.

“You know what I loved about Katie? Her parents were so gorgeous, they were really down-to-earth country people that loved her.”

He continued: “Now you say that [about me being matched with Katie], that’s actually something that I really love. When you have that good relationship with your parents.

“I actually reached out to her and said, ‘Hope you’re doing all right, you’re going to have so many guys in your DMs now so you’ve got nothing to worry about.’”
