The Big Bang Theory cast: Where are they now?

We welcomed the cast of The Big Bang Theory into our homes before saying a tearful goodbye to the sitcom in 2019. Let’s look at what the cast are up to now.

Between 2007 and 2019, The Big Bang Theory – created by Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady – clocked up 12 seasons and 279 episodes.

The sitcom centred on the lives of Sheldon Cooper, Leonard Hofstadter and the rest of the socially awkward gang as they hilariously navigated quantum physics and social situations.

It’s been three years since the popular sitcom finished and the cast have went on to blaze their trails in some remarkable projects since.

Let’s take a look at what the cast have been up to.

Jim Parsons (a.k.a. Sheldon Cooper)

Parsons could not stay away from his role as Sheldon as he reprised his role by voiceover for spinoff, Young Sheldon.

Since filming of The Big Bang Theory wrapped, Parsons has starred in movie The Boys in the Band and TV series’ The Simpsons, Staged and Pete the Cat.

In 2017, Parsons married film producer Todd Spiewak.

Jim Parsons played Sheldon Cooper in the sitcom.

Simon Helberg (a.k.a. Howard Wolowitz)

After taking a break from acting after the finale of the sitcom, Helberg had roles in Amazon movie Annette and The Big Bang Theory spin-off, Young Sheldon.

In 2022, we will see Helberg again in As They Made Us with Dianna Agron and Dustin Hoffman.

Simon is dad to Wilder Helberg and Adeline Helberg and wed actor, Jocelyn Towne in July 2007.

This year, we will see Simon Helberg play a role in As They Made Us.

Kaley Cuoco (a.k.a. Penny Hofstadter)

When the sitcom finished up in 2019, Cuoco starred in the TV series The Flight Attendant earnt her a Golden Globe nomination in 2021.

She is also starring in films The Man from Toronto with Woody Harrelson and Kevin Hart in 2022 and Meet Cute with Pete Davidson and Deborah Craig.

Cuoco split with former husband and equestrian Karl Cook in September 2021 after the pair married in June 2018.

Cuoco played Penny Hofstadter in the popular show.

Melissa Raunch (a.k.a. Bernadette Rostenkowski-Wolowit)

Raunch has gone from strength to strength after the show starring as Melanie in The Laundromat with Gary Oldman and Meryl Streep

She has also been busy voicing Gwen the Cat in Cats & Dogs: Paws Unite, Marie Antoniette in TV series Animaniacs and Dinah in The Chicken Squad.

Melissa Raunch married Winston Beigel in 2007 and has two children with him, Sadie and Brooks Raunch.

Melissa Raunch has gone on to star as Melanie in The Laundromat and starred in multiple TV series’.

Kunal Nayyar (a.k.a. Raj Koothrappali)

The actor has added many projects to his dance card since his time of The Big Bang Theory with parts in Sweetness in the Belly, Trolls World Tour, Think Like a Dog, Criminal: UK and Suspicion.

Nayyar married Neha Tapur in December 2011.

Nayyar has appeared in Sweetness in the Belly, Trolls World Tour, Think Like a Dog, Criminal: UK and Suspicion since filming on The Big Bang Theory wrapped.

Mayim Bialik (a.k.a. Amy Farrah Fowler)

Bialik has gone on to star in TV series’ Young Sheldon and Call Me Kat and has two sons Miles and Frederick Stone with former husband, Michael Stone.

The actor has two sons with former husband, Michael Stone, Miles and Frederick Stone.

Johnny Galecki (a.k.a. Leonard Hofstadter)

Galecki appeared in The Conners straight after The Big Bang Theory finished up.

The actor which played Leonard Hofstadter appear in The Conners.
