Ever wondered how the other half live?
You’ll soon know for sure when the lives of Australia’s most wealthy are showcased in new BINGE Foxtel reality show format, Billion Dollar Playground.
Home concierges, butlers, housekeepers and chefs — they are all run of the mill, apparently, when you’ve got cash to spend on a round-the-clock team of staff to cater to your every need.
On this show, the wealthy are just the wallpaper and viewers can watch the real drama unfold behind the scenes.
Confidential can reveal Billion Dollar Playground will premiere on May 13.
The show is based around the stories of luxury service experts working for real-life accommodation business Luxico, run by chief executive Alex Ormerod.
The concept could be likened to Below Deck meets The Apprentice, but think premium property and the super-rich, with staff vying for the top position of head concierge.
Every few episodes, staff move to different multimillion-dollar properties around NSW.
The series synopsis reads: “Irresistible new reality series, Billion Dollar Playground, is an access-all-areas pass into the world of luxury vacations —where houses are worth tens of millions of dollars, the guests are ultra-demanding, and the house-staff live (and die) by a single rule: If a guest request is legal, make it happen.
“Highly trained staff deliver ‘the impossible’ to demanding guests, every day … (including) an innate ability to know what the guests want before they’ve asked for it.”
