Fresh faces will join Season 2 of the award-winning Aussie comedy series Colin From Accounts, with the upcoming new season tipped to be funnier than the last.
Joining the BINGE show’s stellar line-up are some of Australia’s best comedic talent such as Celeste Barber, Justin Rosniak, Lynne Porteous, Virginia Gay and John Howard.
“I am so excited to be joining the cast of Colin from Accounts,” says Howard, who is well loved for his roles in SeaChange and The Merger.
“The series has made so many people around the world laugh and it is a hilarious take on bouncing through love and life, warts and all. Well, no warts as far as I know of…”
Gay is just as excited to be on-board, saying in a statement: “It’s very rare that you get to walk onto the set of your favourite show and become a part of it. I love this show with all my heart, and the reason that it’s so brilliant is because of the Patty-and-Harrietness of it. They are a joy to be around, and that joy is all over the screen.”

Indeed, real-life husband and wife Patrick Brammall and Harriet Dyer are back in the lead roles that saw them win Best Narrative Comedy Series at the 2024 AACTAs, as well as a trio of Logies last year: Most Outstanding Comedy Program, Most Outstanding Actor and Most Outstanding Actress.
The duo created and wrote the series about their onscreen characters, microbrewery owner Gordon and medical student Ashley, who collide after they injured a supposedly stray dog during an incident which saw them go from strangers to pet co-owners to the pup they named Colin From Accounts.
Season 2 sees the duo officially living together while trying to get back Colin from its owners after forming a strong bond with the special needs dog.
But hurdles present themselves for the pair as they discover more and more about each other and their equally messy lives.
“Colin From Accounts is the best show in Australia, hands down,” says Mr Inbetween star Rosniak, who joins the cast as Gordon’s brother, Alistair Crappe.
“If you’re not laughing your head off, you’re bawling your eyes out. It is truly an honour to be a part of this magical experience.”
The new faces will join returning cast members Emma Harvie, Genevieve Hegney, Michael Logo, Helen Thomson, Darren Gilshenan, Annie Maynard and Tai Hara.
Colin From Accounts premieres Tuesday, May 30 on BINGE, available on Hubbl, and Tuesday May 30 on Showcase at 8.30pm and available On Demand.
